Los Angeles Zoo is the standard for protecting wildlife. The employees are passionate and they give their all to take care of the animals, they also offer learning experiences to create memories that help make connection between people and nature. Los Angeles Zoo's goal is to create an enjoyable world for people and animals.
Open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily except Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day (December 25)
Exploring the Zoo
- Animals - more than 2,200 mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, and 270 different typed of fish lived in the zoo. It is also a home to more than 60 endagered animals.
- Plants - they have an amazing collection of plants like Hongkong orchids and more. Two beautiful attractions you should visit, are Bird Gardens and Garden Highlights.
- Exhibits - Various classes of animals and environments like Campo Gorilla Reserve, Chimpazee of Mahale Mountains, Elephants of Asia, Rainforest of the Americas, Red Ape Forest, and The Lair.

Pros:

A perfect place for family outdoors. Children can receive educational value while sightseeing. Get at it early if you want easy parking. If you love walking then be ready for an approximately 4 hours long walk through the zoo

Not all exhibits can be active at all times but the experience still stays memorable. Kids get fascinated with plants, animals and bird tours
